3. How to install a hammock using sling tape indoors and outdoors
Introduction
Basically, hammocks are made by attaching *1 sling tape *2 to the end rings (also called eyes) of the hammock, then stretching the tape and placing it on a pillar, beam, or tree.
The " installation position " when installing a hammock refers to the position where the tape is directly wrapped around the pillar (wall) or beam (ceiling) / where the mounting device is installed .
By fixing the installation position and changing the length of the tape, you can adjust the hammock's proper deflection.
*1 In this explanation, the HiHi LABOTM sling tape (sold separately) is standardized, but commercially available ropes with sufficient strength (for mountaineering, etc.) can be substituted.
*2 Use the separately sold HiHi LABO TM carabiner on the hammock side, or tie the tape directly to the loop of the hammock by referring to "Connecting the sling tape to the hammock".
Deflection condition of hammock
You can adjust the degree of deflection of the hammock to your liking, but if it bends too much, it will put a strain on your body and may hurt your lower back and back, so it is recommended that you install it in a banana-like arc when not riding. doing.

Wrap sling tape around posts, beams, and trees
(1) To reduce damage, wrap protective material *1 around pillars, beams, and wood where sling tape is to be wrapped. (If the protective material does not reach the entire circumference of the tree, apply the protective material to the area where the tape hits.)
*1 HiHi LABO TM tree protector (sold separately)
(2) Wrap the tape around pillars, beams, trees, etc., pass the tip through the loop at the tip of the tape, and pull it. If the tape is too long, wrap it around a pillar several times to adjust it. When attaching to a device such as an eyebolt, pass the ring in the same way.
